1st International Factoring Congress

16 September 2010, Warsaw

On September the 16th in Warsaw the First International Factoring Congress was held. The event, organized by the Polish Factors Association, was attended by over 150 home and international experts. The Congress’ presentations and discussions focused on the analysis of current market trends. The participant might compare to the industry’s efficiency both in Poland and worldwide.

The winners' ||Golden Pen Polish Factors Association||

Ms. Agnieszka Dabrowska won the PFA contest, “Golden Pen of Polish Factors Association” – edition 2010. The contest jury awarded the thesis: “Factoring as a liquidity management tool” Ms. Dąbrowska presented a perfect, holistic approach to the extremely important factor of the factoring service.
The other laureates of the contest are:
Ms. Joanna Haczek, thesis: “Comparative analysis of factoring in Poland and Germany”,
Ms. Agata Wasielewska, thesis: “The factoring facilities serviced by Polish banks and their importance for businesses”,

All the awarded authors are graduates of the School of Economics in Warsaw.
